University of Minnesota Football Boycotts Bowl Game
The University of Minnesota football team are boycotting their bowl game and all squad activities after 10 players were suspended. The decision is related to the handling of assault allegations leveled at the suspended players. The ten players were suspended earlier in the week after a university investigation into sexual assault allegations from September, following the team's first game of the season. Citing privacy laws, the university declined to comment on the reason for the suspensions.
