Conor McGregor to Appear On Episode of 'Game Of Thrones'
According to a new report from FOX Sports, UFC president Dana White has confirmed that superstar MMA fighter Conor McGregor will make an appearance in an upcoming season of Game Of Thrones. Insiders say that McGregor's role on the show will be small and he will most likely be a villain. McGregor is currently the reigning UFC lightweight and featherweight champion, who makes headlines every time he brags about his accomplishments in the Octagon. Last October, a released video also showed McGregor and Game of Thrones' character 'The Mountain' engaging in a friendly bare-knuckled sparring match.
Conor is our hero, that’s for sure. McGregor is reportedly not going back to the ring until May, but he is getting ready for some other projects. After the magnificent fight last month, he will rest form fighting in the boxing kind of way, but he will put his acting skills to the test.
And that will be in the HBO’s favorite Games of Thrones!
For now, producers of the show have not revealed his identity in the show, or whether he is going to get a lead role. However, insiders make this world go round, so it is speculated on Watchers on the Wall that the Irishman is going to portray a soldier on Silence, a ship controlled by King of the Iron Islands, Euron Greyjoy.
This being true or not, the trash-talking Irishman is always fun to see and hear.
