World Chess Championship Won By Magnus Carlsen
In a soundproof glass box, Magnus Carlsen won the World Chess Championship on Wednesday evening. After his final move, viewers saw Carlsen give "an exuberant double-fist pump." This is Carlsen's third time winning the championship. It was a celebratory moment for the world champion player, who was also celebrating his 26th birthday the same evening. As he came out to greet the press the crowd joined in singing "Happy Birthday" to the beaming winner.
