Redskins' star Josh Norman blasts NFL for implementing 'double standard'
Josh Norman is upset with the NFL over a double standard he sees. After being fined $10,000 for an interception celebration in week 4, the Redskins' DB told 106.7 The Fan that the NFL trying to police violence in a "barbaric" sport doesn't make sense to him. I think we have a double standard as a league. We say want to be PG [rated] or whatever television show we showing, but at the same time we’re selling beer on TV shows when kids [are] watching. So it’s kind of like, well dang, if that’s the case and that’s good, why can’t we have fun within the game? The Redskins face off with the Eagles in a NFC East rivalry matchup on Sunday at FedEx Field.
