Professional Bodybuilder Dies After Failed Backflip Attempt (WARNING: Graphic)
Sifiso Lungelo Thabete’s attempt to entertain the crowd as he entered the arena went horribly wrong when he didn’t rotate far enough and landed on his head, breaking his neck. Sifiso was initially ridiculed after botching an attempted backflip at a competition so this was his way of proving himself.
What a terrible way to go!
Sifiso Lungelo Thabete was a bodybuilder champion, who is no longer with us because he wanted to do his trademark backflip, but the whole thing went horrifyingly wrong, with Thabete dying in front of the audience.
Young Thabete broke his neck, after trying to perform his trick, at the competition in South Africa.
With over 165 pounds of muscle, Thabete jumped and he didn't manage to do the whole flip, resulting in falling down on his neck, and dying instantly.
And the whole thing was filmed, so you can see it for yourself, if you have a stomach for it!
The strangest thing is that backflip was his trademark, and it seemed like he never have done it before in his life.
Thabete was from Umlazi, South Africa and he recently won under-23 in 165 lbs division of the IFBB Muscle Mulisha Grand Prix competition held in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He was rising star in the world of bodybuilding, as many magazines wrote about him and his medals.
Thabete will surely be missed by a lot of his fans, friends and family.
