Devon Gales Proves ANYTHING is Possible by Playing Catch After Being Paralyzed During Football Game
Devon Gales, who suffered a spinal injury during a football game that left him paralyzed, has been making major strides as of late. Not too long ago he was seen taking his first steps since the horrific incident, and now he's getting more active with the game he loves.
Devon Gales was hospitalized way back in 2015, with spinal injury.
Southern University receiver Gales was taken off the field on a stretcher, after he has been injured in the game against Georgia.
His school immediately announced that Gales would spent some time at the hospital, as his spine was badly kicked.
Eyewitnesses said that Devon Gales was able to move his hand, while he was being taken away from the football field.
After two years, Gales is, unfortunately, still in a wheelchair, and he is unable to stand on his own two feet.
The doctors, however, are very pleased with his progress, as he is now capable of moving his hands, and his upper body.
He can even walk around, but he needs help from his physical therapist.
Now you can see Devon Gales throwing a football, while doing his physical therapy at the hospital.
We wish you all the best, Gales!
